Care Hands

Our Chair Practitioners are fully licensed, certified and recognized by the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) and/or (NCBTMB), and specially trained to give Eldercare Massage. Eldercare Massage uses gentle relaxation techniques to soothe aching muscles, tendons and joints while positioned on a specially designed cushioned chair. Our massage is designed to meet the unique needs and overall health of seniors, with sessions ranging from 15 to 30 minutes.

The various health benefits of elder-care massage can provide are:

Helps to improve lymphatic flow and circulation
Helps to increase strength, muscle coordination & balance
Alleviates headache & chronic pain
Can greatly assist in arthritic pain management
Helps to reduce painful joints and tight muscles
Increase range of motion
Relief from anxiety, depression and stress
Promotes easier and deeper breathing
Improves your quality and length of sleep
Boosts natural energy levels and mental awareness

Massage chairs are portable; therefore we are able to come to you and are able to set up quickly in almost any location. Chairs are fully disinfected prior to each visit and the face-rest cloths that are used are disposable, therefore ensuring that sanitary standards are adhered to. Individuals using a wheelchair can still benefit from the massage as they remain in their personal mobility device, while resting against a padded table top cushion. There is no need to remove any clothing as the Chair Practitioner will use their massage techniques effectively through the clothing. In consideration of the fact that some individuals have sensitivities to certain products and scents, no lotions, oils or scented products of any kind are used during sessions.
