Threshold Women’s Program

Get support and empowerment from Threshold outreach staff, who offer services that will support you if you have experienced threats, abuse and/or violence including sexual assault and historical sexual abuse. Services are offered in a safe, accepting and confidential environment in which you can explore your options and define your goals. Threshold staff recognize and respond to your cultural and lifestyle needs in addressing abuse.

You can also receive guidance in finding specific services, including:
• Translation services
• Financial aid
• Medical care
• Legal assistance (advocacy for child custody, family/criminal court)
• Court accompaniment
• Housing
• Immigration, sponsorship
• Exploration of appropriate education, training and employment services
• Parenting resources
• Registering children in schools
• Counselling
